I don't know why it works, but it does!
- Treat your wooden spoons and spatulas with respect!
No dishwasher!!
- Keep your knives sharp - more people are cut by dull knives than sharp! Also keeps hovering husbands from getting underfoot!
- A sliced lemon makes a good scrubber for cutting boards.
- To pit cherries, place cherry on top of an empty beer or pop can…poke the pit out with a chopstick or skewer.
- Laying a wooden spoon over a boiling pot keeps it from boiling over!
- If you bring meat - especially roasts and steaks - to room temperature, you will achieve a more even cooking.
- When resting meat, if you rest the meat on a rack, you will lose less of your juices! Try it...you'll be amazed!!
